A correction is most useful when it gets all the way down to the disputed sentence and the source behind it.

Research corrections

A useful correction identifies the page and sentence, then the publication or table that supports the change. The exact preparation, study population and measured outcome often explain an apparent disagreement. If a source has a correction or retraction, that notice matters too.

I would gladly narrow a claim whose generous interpretation outruns its source. Pigment location, the follow-up interval and the distinction between GHK and GHK-Cu can each change the meaning of a sentence.
